Heat pump installation, upgrades and repairs
- Water isn't as hot as it used to be. Could be a refrigerant, fan or element fault.
- Error code on the display. Tell us the code when you call and we'll come prepared.
- Louder fan or compressor noise. Worn fan motor or loose parts. Best checked early.
- Ice that won't clear from the unit. Light frost on cold mornings is normal. Constant ice isn't.
- Water leaking around the tank. A valve may need replacing. A tank leak usually means replacement.
Split system
Layout: Compressor and tank installed separately
Space: More flexible placement
Noise: Compressor can go away from bedrooms
Best for: Tight or noise-sensitive spots
Install: More pipework involved
Integrated
- Layout: Compressor sits on top of the tank
- Space: One unit, simple footprint
- Noise: Unit sits where the tank goes
- Best for: Most standard replacements
- Install: Usually quicker
Integrated vs split heat pump
Both use the same technology. The difference is how the unit is put together and where it goes.
Fast, Professional, and Reliable.

Frequently asked questions
How much can a heat pump save?
Heat pumps use a fraction of the electricity of a standard electric tank to heat the same water. Savings depend on your usage and tariff, and we can estimate them for your home.
Are there rebates for heat pumps in NSW?
Many NSW households can get a discount when replacing an electric or gas system with a heat pump through government energy-saving schemes. We check eligibility when we quote.
Do heat pumps work in winter?
Yes. Modern heat pumps work well in Sydney's climate all year, though they heat a little slower on very cold mornings.
Are heat pumps noisy?
They make a low hum similar to an air conditioner's outdoor unit. We help choose a spot away from bedrooms and neighbours' windows.
Can you repair my heat pump?
Yes. We diagnose error codes and fan, compressor and valve faults, and service most major brands.
